Pass the TORCHTorch Leadership Academy
"By June 2024, I will graduate senior year with straight A’s."
I started with writing out my goal as if I had already completed it. Then, I worked through breaking the larger goal down into more attainable steps.
I graduated my senior year with my goal achieved, and I am now a junior at TCNJ studying nursing.
At the time of writing this goal, grades were very important to me. This goal was important to me because with all the fun that comes with senior year I wanted to prioritize my academics to set myself up for success entering college. I was able to work through this goal with the staff members of Torch Leadership Academy, where they helped me turn this goal into a SMART goal. I can proudly say as a junior in college I have completed this goal with the help of my friends at TORCH.
Give toward TORCH 2027 and help the next class set goals, build confidence, and carry their impact forward.
