The goal I set at TORCH

My goal was "By December, I will finish my robotics project and enter it in states." I have a drawer full of half-built projects — this was the one I committed to at TORCH and got mentoring on how to stick with.

The actions I've taken since

My goal-mining plan broke it into two-week chunks with a check-in partner from my cohort.

Where I am today

I finished my robotics project and our team placed at states. More importantly, I finished it.

Who I'm passing the torch to

I went back to my school and told 200 kids at an assembly about the goal I almost gave up on. That felt like passing something real.
